Our one year anniversary is here!

It is amazing to us that we have been a paddle club for one year already! I guess it flew by because of all the events we hosted in the last 12 months with all our SUP friends. In the last 12 months, we built out our container to store our SUPs, held the fitness and race league throughout the year and hosted a number of paddles across the bay, including the Black Point Paddle, Alcatraz, Escape to SF, Sausalito, Redwood City, Foster City, and even went to Lake Berryessa

We also circumnavigated Alameda and plan to do it again at the end of this month. But before we do that, we have been training and have a few more training sessions coming up.

  • This Saturday, July 9 Mike and Jie will be leading the “Easy Half” 7 mile paddle from Mike’s Paddle to the Grand Street Boat Ramp. Board shuttle is available back to the shop. Please arrive at 8:20am for a 9:00am departure.

  • And on Sunday, we will have a Race League session led by John Hadley and a Social paddle led by Chris Churilo for you to choose from.

  • We will end the day with a celebration at Encinal beach that will include a potluck. The potluck will start at noon and will be held at the Ohana Paddle Club Clubhouse at Encinal Beach.

Please sign up for all three events on TeamSnap.  Also, if you are attending the potluck and are bringing some food to share, please sign up here.  We look forward to trying out everyone’s special recipes!

Mahalo!
