Come join us for a Paddleathon at Encinal Beach in Alameda on October 30th at 10 AM. Bring your stand up paddle board, kayak, outrigger or whatever you want to paddle around for the day. The purpose of this is to have the participants spread the word to their friends, family and co-workers to “sponsor” them at the Paddleathon by donating to Blue Terra Clean Up’s Gofundme page so that Blue Terra can do even more and even bigger beach and near shore clean ups of plastic and trash. The money pays for things like truck rental, dump fees, supplies, and the costs of running Blue Terra.

There is really no set distance or amount of time you have to paddle. You don’t have to have done it before either, see the links below to rent and/or take lessons.

If you want to join, some people will be doing a tour around Ballena Island (distance of about 2 miles). Start time for this is 10 AM.
